Hermes Agent is a private, personal-use assistant operated by the account owner. This policy explains how the application accesses and uses Google user data when the owner authorizes the application through Google OAuth.
Depending on the permissions granted by the account owner, Hermes Agent may access Gmail messages and metadata, Google Calendar data, Google Drive files and metadata, Google Contacts, Google Sheets, and Google Docs.
Google user data is used only to perform actions or provide information requested by the account owner, such as reviewing email, checking a calendar, locating files, reading documents or spreadsheets, and assisting with personal productivity workflows.
OAuth credentials and tokens may be stored on the account owner's private self-hosted infrastructure so the application can remain connected. Google content may be processed by the assistant when needed to fulfill the owner's requests. Information may also be retained when the owner explicitly asks the assistant to remember it or when the configured assistant memory system stores relevant context.
Hermes Agent does not sell Google user data. Google user data is not made available to advertisers. Data is only processed by services and infrastructure used by the account owner to operate the assistant and fulfill the owner's requests.
Use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
The account owner can revoke the application's Google Account access at any time through Google Account security settings. The owner can also remove stored credentials from the self-hosted Hermes Agent installation.
This policy may be updated if the application's Google data access or handling practices change.
